Description

Founded in 1988 by Andrew and Brian Symington, Signatory Vintage is one of the world’s leading independent bottlers and the owner of Edradour Distillery. Their extensive bottling lines—Vintage Collection, Un-Chillfiltered Collection, and Cask Strength Collection—offer a vast range of distilleries, ages, and cask types. Signatory is known for high transparency, diverse cask finishing, and meticulous presentation. Their warehouses in Pitlochry hold thousands of casks, including rare stock from closed distilleries. The brand’s Cask Strength Collection, presented in heavy decanter bottles, is especially prized. Signatory combines consistent quality with some of the industry’s most generous single-cask offerings.

Founded in 1819 by the Duke of Sutherland, Clynelish originally produced a waxy, coastal Highland whisky that became highly valued by blenders. When a new, larger distillery was built in 1967 to meet modern demand, the original building was repurposed and renamed Brora. Clynelish’s spirit is known for its distinctive waxy texture, citrus notes, and subtle coastal minerality—attributes attributed to long fermentation and the distillery’s unique production setup. Now owned by Diageo, it is a key component in Johnnie Walker blends and a beloved single malt. Recent expansions and an upgraded visitor centre reflect its rising global demand.

This Clynelish 25-year-old was distilled in 1995 and matured in a refill sherry butt #11225, yielding 340 bottles at a natural cask strength of 51%.
