Description
A very rare Lowland single malt from Killyloch distillery was distilled 1967. As the Qe2 was being launched at Clydebank in 9167 the American Oak barrels at Moffat distillery were being filled with single malt scotch whisky to be warehouse until best for bottling. Bottled in 2003 as a vatting of the last ever six casks from the proprietary stock, at a natural cask strength of 40% ABV. This is one of just 371 bottles.
Killyloch single malt whisky was first produced in 1965, when it was distilled alongside Glenflagler within the Moffat grain distillery. Both Killyloch and Glenflagler were produced using separate sets of stills within the distillery

Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, the condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. Loss and breakage cover is available at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against the courier or The Grand Whisky Auction for breakage or loss in transit.
