Description
Found on the beautiful Island of Skye, the Talisker distillery was founded by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill in 1830. The two were as you probably guessed...brothers. A freak fire resulted in the distillery being badly damaged, so much so that had to be rebuilt in the 1960s. Eventually, as the drinks giant Diageo knocked on the door, they were added to their portfolio.
This is an early bottling shown with the spring cap and in 13 1/3 FL OZ. Bottled at 80 Proof, this pure malt is a real collector's item.
