Description

This lot includes 3 x 70cl :

  • Rare Cask Batch No.1, 2018 release introduced a new look for Rare Cask which has been rebranded and revised.  It is an attempt by Macallan to give greater insight into their whisky making process.  This first batch was one of three batches to be released in 2018, with further batches planned for subsequent years. Each limited release batch represents the volume of only 50 oak sherry butts. 43% ABV.
  • Rare Cask Batch No.2, 2018 is the second release from The Macallan Rare Cask batched series.  It contains whisky drawn from just 50 sherry butts to craft a rich and fruity dram. 43% ABV.
  • Rare Cask Batch No.3, 2018 the third release from The Macallan Rare Cask batched series. Created to show the complexity and depth that can be achieved through aging, Rare Cask comes from a broad selection of casks, including American oak sherry casks and European oak casks – a large number of which are first-fill. 43% ABV.
